Heat storage - Pye-rate - 12-16-2015

This stuff would be good for some place cold places with lots of sunshine, Mars. Not so good for space stations.

That's interesting. Could be great on the Moon, perhaps... I wonder how big it'd have to be to store enough energy to get through a two-week night?

Personally, I tend to think a small nuclear power plant will be far simpler & cheaper than such complex solar-based schemes, but I could certainly be wrong about that.
