nifty new atmospheric regulator - JoeStrout - 04-09-2015 Too much CO2 getting you down? Or, the opposite problem: all the CO2 has been turned into grass, leaving you feeling great but the grass turning brown? What you need is an atmospheric regulator! These new utility buildings can add or remove CO2 as needed (within limits). Actually, we're still working on the coding to make these automatically adjust their function based on the current CO2 levels. We need to do the same thing for the plants, which photosynthesize better at higher CO2 levels. Once all that's done, we'll be putting in some cool new high-density buildings, wrapping up a few other things, and posting version 0.15! RE: nifty new atmospheric regulator - Pye-rate - 10-02-2015 Why grass, uses too much water and needs mowing, alternatives. http://yourhomewizards.com/ground-covers-walkable-and-worthy-alternatives-to-grass/ RE: nifty new atmospheric regulator - JoeStrout - 10-02-2015 Those are some good alternatives, thanks for pointing them out! RE: nifty new atmospheric regulator - Pye-rate - 10-04-2015 This ma not be useful in a space colony, however on Mars where dust will be a problem it could be handy. http://gizmodo.com/the-largest-air-purifier-ever-built-sucks-up-smog-and-t-1729298355 |
