Thanks!  I knew the concept, but hadn't seen this company before.

This part on their home page worries me a bit:

Quote:The aim for Maglaunch is to keep it as international as possible, holding first and foremost that the dream of space exploration belongs to all of mankind, rather than one nation or special interest groups.

Their aim should be to make a viable company with a solid enough business plan to actually build something.  In other words, they need to make a profit for their investors.  All other considerations are secondary.  So, I hope this focus on being international doesn't get in the way of that.

Still, it's a great concept and something like it will certainly happen sooner or later.  I wish them luck!
